Participants in the Alliance for Cyber Security
The Alliance for Cyber Security is an initiative of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), which in cooperation with the Bundesverband Informationswirtschaft, Telekommunikation und neue Medien e.V. (German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media). (BITKOM) was founded.
As an association of all important players in the field of cyber security in Germany, the Alliance aims to provide up-to-date and valid information across the board.
As a member of the Alliance, we have access to current situation information (e.g. from security service providers), BSI cyber security warnings and other non-public information and offers. This ensures that we and our customers have early access to all security-relevant information and work for your and our security.
ADN, as an example for many of our partners/suppliers, provides technically outstanding products in the areas of Cloud & Virtualization, Network & Security, Storage Solutions and Unified Communication, including products from Citrix, Proofpoint, DELL/EMC, Igel, watchguard and SONICWALL. The ADN AKADEMIE is available for employees as well as customer training and the technical service with a direct line to the manufacturers helps us to fall back on the know-how of the manufacturers for special technical questions.
We are a member of the network nrw.uniTS, the association of companies, research institutions and universities for IT security in NRW. The cooperation between university and industry guarantees the combination of application-oriented top-level research with action-oriented entrepreneurial spirit. More than 130 members are also committed to sensitizing other industries and areas to the very important topic of IT security.
Through the network we work together with renowned institutes such as the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security in Bochum and the Institute for Internet Security - if(is) - of the Westphalian University Gelsenkirchen.
As an F-Secure partner, we use the outstanding solutions for endpoint protection, vulnerability management and advanced threat protection. In addition, the Messaging Security Gateway solution from the technological market leader Proofpoint is available to us to ward off SPAM, viruses and attacks that target companies via individualized emails.
We use a portfolio of different technologies and manufacturers for comprehensive and secure protection of corporate data and IT infrastructure, including G Data's solutions tested by Stiftung Warentest with "Gut". The association for computer science (GI) is with approximately 20,000 personal and 250 corporate members the largest and most important professional association for computer science in the German-speaking area. It has represented the interests of computer scientists in science, business, public administration, society and politics since 1969 and is a leader in the discussion and development of computer science in Germany.

The aim of the technical guidelines of the BSI is to disseminate an appropriate safety standard. BSI-Standards are an elementary component of the basic IT protection methodology. They contain recommendations on methods, processes and procedures as well as procedures and measures on various aspects of information security.
